THE AIC THERMAL and VISIBLE NIGHT-TIME DATA SET
kindly provided by Ciarán Ó Conaire, Adaptive Information Cluster, Dublin, Ireland

General information:

This dataset contains two video sequences: one in the visible spectrum and one in thermal infrared. Both are compressed into MPEG-1 format and contain 8702 frames each. The thermal sequence was captured using a Raytheon Control-IR 2000B camera, imaged at wavelengths between 7 and 14 microns. The visible spectrum camera was a Panasonic WV-CP470. The video scene contains bike-racks, pedestrians, bicycles and vehicles. It was captured from a balcony in Dublin City University campus, Ireland. Thermally reflective glass was used as a beam-splitter. The thermal images were warped using a planar homography to align it with the visible spectrum images

Example images from the dataset: visible (left); registered infrared (right).
